April 2019: Empties & Tossed Report

Empties & Tossed Report time!

Empties first!

I am still trying to use up small perfumes, which I finished two of in April. The Gucci Bloom is amazing, if you haven't sniffed it yet. I found a 'what perfume you should like according to your horoscope' article and it picked Bloom for me - correct! It was right on the money. I am not buying a full size until I use up the 492 other small ones I have, but so far, this one is the front runner.

The only other notable item is the Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser. It smells nice, works well, and isn't harsh. I probably wouldn't repurchase as I tend to like peeling gels better than exfoliators these days, thank you KBeauty trends.

I only used up two packets this month.

My Tossed Report is quite slim this month! This polish was dried up so it had to go. Vaseline is too gross and slippery and I decided I dislike mint lip anything. See ya!

Empties Report for February: 12 full size / 2 samples
Tossed Report for February: 5 items

Empties Report Year to Date: 50 items / 18 packets
Tossed Year to Date: 54 items

April 2019: Favorites & Flops

April went so fast! Can you believe it's over?!

Let me show you what I loved this month. It's all skincare!

Favorites:

Since it is getting warmer, I am trying not to slather my face in full coverage foundation. Instead, I am focusing on skincare, as usual, and a nice BB cream.

Mamonde 3 Piece Rose Set: I was able to try this set from Ulta, shown below, and I love each piece! While I would purchase the full sizes, I love this travel set to bring back and forth to my boyfriend's house (who, thankfully, does not hate makeup!). The 3 piece set is the Petal Spa Oil to Foam Cleanser, the Rose Water Toner, and the Rose Water Gel Cream. The cleanser is a good Step 2 cleanser, it is foamy and nondrying. The toner is also nondrying, and the gel cream has a light gel texture. All 3 are wins!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: This was another new to Ulta item, but DHC is well known world wide! It is a great oil although I haven't tried to use it for makeup removal.

Peach & Oily Glass Skin Refining Serum: If you like KB, just go get this! It is light, perfecting, moisturizing, and lovely.

Garnier BB Cream in Fair: This is a white based cream that adjusts to the skintone. It is a medium coverage cream that perfects skintone, erases blemishes, and reduces redness. Loving it instead of my full coverage foundation.

Time for the Flop! It's just one item, since I have been picky with my purchases lately.

I know the Neutrogena Make Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes have a lot of fans, but you wont find my name on that list. These do little more than smear the mascara all over my face. I brought these for the gym and I will use them up, but nothing replaces my Formula 10.0.6 Wipe My Face Off wipes!!

What did you love or leave this month?
