It all started late the week before, when I grabbed Orly Glowstick. I won't do another mention about it, but I'll just start with a pic to refresh your memory:
After I received so many compliments on this one, I thought it might be cool to keep going with the brights!
Smitten Polish Terra Opal: How gorgeous is this!!? This is another polish that is much brighter in real life. The golden flakkies make this neon green so unique. I did three coats over a white base, which isn't great, but the results are lovely!
China Glaze Bottom's Up: I am a free-spirit, LOL, so sticking to a theme is always harder than I think it will be at the beginning of the week. I wanted to stick with neon, I knew I wanted a pink, but I didn't want to go the traditional neon pink route, so I used Bottom's Up, which is bright and sort-of neon, but not your traditional hot pink neon. I love this color! I did use three coats as it is getting a little older and is slightly patchy, but it's totally worth it!
Zoya Dori: I had plans to see my girlfriends when I picked out this color. I wanted something cheery, slightly out of the box, and just pretty...and also bright enough to fit in with this week's theme - sort of. Also, my Grandmother, who is a wonderful watercolor artist, keeps noticing that the sky, even though it is so cold, has been a lovely sky blue lately. Zoya Dori was the perfect pic and my last bow decal added a touch of whimsy. This is just two coats and Glisten & Glow topcoat, of course.
Orly Push the Limit: Rounding out neon week is one of my faves, Push The Limit. It much more orange than the photo shows but you get the idea. I did two coats and topcoat.
Neon week was a success! But I think it's back to neutrals next week, LOL.
