So I have this sturdy brown shopping bag (LUSH, of course) where I throw my empties when I am done, but I have also started to throw things out when they just don't work for me. Starting this month, I am going to post my empties but also my tossed items, too, and tell you why I don't want to keep them.
For starters, here are my empties:
Like last month, I won't go through everything. Instead, let me show you what I loved and would re-purchase.
Formula 10.0.06 Wipe Your Face Off Makeup Wipes: No need to rehash my love for these, right? I buy them 2 at a time so I never run out.
LUSH Cosmetics Sleepy Body Lotion: I was just going to type 'it's almost that time of year again' but LUSH recently made this lavender scented lotion a part of their permanent line. It smells amazing, especially right before bedtime, and mimics the Twilight scent, if you're familiar with that.
Caudalie Vino Source Sorbet Moisturizer: I really need to invest in a full size bottle of this when I next need moisturizer. It smells like a sweet candy or sorbet, has a cool consistency, and works well over all of my other products.
Axe Daily Spray Anarchy: I needed a small spray to toss in my bag and this was actually quite good! Somewhere between clean and clean-girls-locker-room scent, this little canister holds quite a bit of product.
Glisten & Glow Topcoat: The best topcoat on the market, hands down. (Hands..topcoat..HAHA, see what I did there?)
Etude House Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack: I purchased a 3-pack of these sleeping packs when Meme box was liquidating it's non brand inventory. I like this for summer because it has a cooling, gel consistency, but I plan to switch to a more lotion-like pack for winter.
LaNeige Lavender Water Sleeping Mask: I saw this posted in my KB skincare group on Facebook and found a sample size for a great price. I love it, but like the Etude House product, it has a lighter weight to it that relegates it to summer use for me.
I also used up some packets:
Next up, here is what I tossed out:
Ulta Beauty Sugar Lip Scrub: Where is the sugar? Where is the scrub? The sugar must've dissolved and now this is a slimy mess. Buh-bye.
Urban Decay Up All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray: It's not that I dislike this product, it just happens that this bottle is about 4,105 years old and I have a matte version from NyX that I like better. See ya.
Now for the totals.
Monthly Totals: 10 empties and 6 sample packets.
Yearly Totals: 169 empties and 71 sample packets.
