June, July, and August Favorites!

I have been trying to stream line my beauty products lately, and even more so after hearing about Hurricane Harvey. I need to really ease up on material possessions and focus on family, love, safety, and preparedness.

That is a story in the works. You will see an upcoming purge post and throwaway post coming soon.

For now, let me show you what I have been loving for the past few months.

Gold Bond Ultimate Eczema Relief: I admit, I bought this from a Shaq commercial. I get light bumps up and down my upper arms, so I figured this was worth a shot to combat them. This really helps! It is a thick but easy to spread formula, has no smell at all, and leaves my arms feeling instantly soothed.

LUSH Cosmetics Ultrabland Cleanser: I possibly talk about this rich balm cleanser too often on the blog. It removes everything, from waterproof mascara to a long lasting liquid lip. It smells great, too.

Murad Hydrating Toner: This is fairly new to be, but I've been using it daily since I picked it up at Ulta. It has a light fresh scent, and the spray bottle is super convenient for toner application.

Neulii Greentea BHA Pore Tightening Serum: I bought this on a whim from RoseRoseShop, and I am very happy with my purchase. It has a typical tea tree string to it, but my pores do look better now that I've been using this for a few weeks.

Cover Girl The Super Lengths Mascara: I may have finally found a mascara to replace my beloved Miss Manga (pours out a lil liquor for Miss M). The brush is tiny, practically has no bristles, and catches every lash. This is a very recent purchase but so far, so good.

It Cosmetics Anti-Redness Creme: Hand's down, this is my favorite product find in the past few months...in fact, probably all of 2017 so far. A thick, tinted creme, this goes onto the skin to mask redness and even out skintone. It is ridiculously expensive for the amount you receive, but it is amazing. Worth it 100%.

Boscia BB Cream: I discovered this when I went to Arizona in late June. This cream melted into my skin as it is very creamy, but covered my imperfections very well. It stayed on and looked good through 110 plus degree heat. The little sample last 10 days for me, through plane rides, swimming, and wandering around. I immediately purchased a full size when I got back to the east coast.

Boscia Hydrating Essence: When I HAD to run to Sephora for a full size BB cream, I also picked up this hydrating essence in a gorgeous bottle. I use this after the toner step in my regimen. It is so incredibly silky to the touch and simply melts into the skin.

Ok! So those were my favorites from the past few months. What have you been loving?? Let me know in the comments!

xoxo,
Lacey

Zoya Sophisticates

The Zoya Sophisticates collection is here! There are two "pearl" shades, two "metallic" shades, and 8 creme shades. Let me show you each one! I am going to lift the description from the site, LOL. #lazyblogger

But first, group shot:

Zoya McKenna: "refined pearl in a soft almond" is the description of this polish. It does have a "pearl" like finish to it, but it is very subtle. Watch those brush strokes though, they can show if you're not careful.

Zoya Tabitha: this is the other "pearl" polish but in a hunter green. I actually liked this shade more than I thought I would! The pearl finish makes it quite unique...but, oh boy, those brush strokes! Two coats shown here.

Zoya Gal: No doubt, this baby is named after Gal Gadot, aka Wonderwoman! I wish they had given her a more powerful color, because this one is lame-o. Zoya describes this as a "smokey, iridescent, peridot gold metallic." Ugly, LOL. My camera didn't like it and…

Lip Slut: F*ck Trump Liquid Lipstick!

Perhaps I will lose a few followers for this, but I am over it. Trump is an awful President. He does not care to unite the country, and, quite the opposite, seeks to divide people from their neighbors and loved ones.

In response to his ridiculous response to the Aug 11-12 events in Charlottesville, Virginia, Lip Slut decided to send some of the proceeds from their now infamous F*ck Trump lipstick to those who suffered.

Honestly, this product has been for sales since November 2016. I didn't buy it then because I hoped (and prayed and hoped and prayed) that, if he were elected, Trump would be great...

So, lemme show ya my new lippie, k?

I wasn't expecting the formula to be great...BUT IT IS!

The color is quite universally flattering, I would think. The formula feels like a Colour Pop matte to me, and the staying powder is great. Win, win!

PS: Fuck Trump!
