As you probably already know, I am a huge fan of the LUSH Cosmetics Fresh Face Masks. They come in about 10 different versions, so there is a formula for every skin type.
One very cool aspect about this mask is that they are fresh, so they must be refrigerated, and they do have a fairly short life span. Honestly, I have used them well past the expiration date and they have worked fine. Also, if you don't plan to use them quickly, you can freeze a portion and the formula stays perfect.
You can only purchase them IN store, which is also cool, because you can then talk to an employee who will speak to you about your skin concerns and help you choose the right one!
So, I tried to apply this with my e.l.f. Pore Refining Brush and Mask tool, but the LUSH mask is quite thick and was bending the little spatula part without picking up product. I scrapped it and smoothed on a thin layer with my fingers.
This mask is supposed to cleanse and calm the skin at the same time. The calamine is helpful to reduce redness and irritation. Although it looks like I have a face full of cement, that is just not the case, LOL. After letting this dry, which does tighten the skin, I washed it off to reveal plump, clear, very happy skin!
Have you tried this or any of LUSH's other masks?
