Today I have my Favorites and Fails post, tomorrow I will have the Mani Round Up, and on Thursday, I'll post my March Empties Report. Ready?
My favorites are a mix or old items and new, face and hair, splurges and steals.
Skin Food Food Therapy Peach Sake Emulsion: I purchased this on a whim at Ulta about a month ago and have been using it regularly after cleansing and before toner. I am taking small steps into Korean Beauty and the 8-10 step cleansing system, so this purchase was for a step in the routine. It smells amazing and while I am not sure it makes miracles by itself, I enjoy the texture of the product and feel of my skin after using it.
Wet and Wild MegaGlo Cheek & Lip Tint in Kiss Me If You Can: Grab this if you see it! I took a chance on this inexpensive multi-tasker from Wet&Wild and have been using it pretty much daily. I tap the top of the stick with my middle and ring finger, then tap onto my cheek. I love it as a cheek color! I do not like it much as a lip product, it is very drying and settles into the lip lines but it might work better for someone with less chronically dry lips than myself.
Glam Glow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow: I received this in my Sephora PLAY! box and I am in love! With each Glam Glow product I try, I understand why it is so popular! This moisturizer has a beautiful glow to it. I used to be a matte face girl, but lately I am enjoying a lit from within look using tinted glowly moisturizers. As much as I love this, it is quite out of my price range, so I might try to find a cheaper version after I finish this sample.
e.l.f. cosmetics Kohl Eyeliner: I am 99% sure I have featured this kohl pencil on my monthly favorites list before, but it deserves to be mentioned again. I use this literally daily on my waterline. I don't feel like myself without it! I buy this from Walmart for under $3. The cap has it's own built in sharpener, the other end has a smudger, which I have personally never used, but for the price, it is convenient and a cool addition to the product. LOVE.

Missha Dong Baek Gold Shampoo: I received two packets of this shampoo in my eopenmarket.com Lucky Box of samples. It smells so clean and fresh, and my hair has never been softer. Full size on the way once I use up the large bottle of Rusk shampoo I currently have...or maybe sooner, hehe.
Fails of the Month:
Missha Super Aqua Oxygen Micro Visible Deep Cleanser: This is way too strong for my skin. I tried it twice and immediately my skin was red and inflamed. No go!
Philosophy Hope In A Stick Lip Balm: UGH - the formula of this lip balm is gross! It is waxy, it is slimy, it is not usable. I am, perhaps the only one here, not a fan of Philosophy products in general, so no wonder I dislike this.
Wet&Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel: I tried this twice and the formula is thick, hard to manipulate, and even with three coats, it does not look opaque.
Salon Perfect white striper: I have had this for a while, and it is finally lumpy and hard to use. It's not a fail, but it's time for this to be thrown out!
There you have it, the favorites and fails for March. Did you discover any new products?
