Mask of the week time! I think this is my favorite post of each week!
Last week, I did an uber swap with a member of a group I am in, and one of the items I received was the Farmacy Brightening Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask. I have heard of Farmacy and wanted to try the brand, so it was very cool and convenient that I was able to swap for it!
I also love anything coconut, and hydrating, so this specific mask was a win-win for me!
Since it is touted as 'hydrating' and 'gel' that means there is a lot of product on the mask. Since it is gel, it did NOT feel like a regular sheet mask, but was jelly like in consistency and almost sticky to the touch. AWESOME!
Can you see the texture well enough? It was def more gel and less cloth-like.
Goofy face pic time! You can see the texture better here...right? It was cooling to wear and with the stickiness, it fit snug to the face. Instead of cloth masks that can move, this almost adhered to the skin in a way that let me do things while wearing it (like a mani) instead of having to lay back and do nothing while worrying about the mask shifting or gaping.
When I removed it, I rubbed the excess serum on my arms and legs. The scent wasn't too coconutty, but instead just light and clean with a hint of coconut. My skin felt amaaazing after. It is no surprise to me at all that this brand is getting rave reviews. Looking forward to trying more items from Farmacy, especially the masks!
