Hare Polish: Alien She! Limited Edition

My first foray into the world of indie polishes, many moons ago, was with crelly glitter bombs. This was before flakkies and holos became more popular and most indies were making glitter toppers or glitter bombs in creme formula polishes. One of my first, and still favorite, crelly glitter bomb makers is Hare Polish. If you follow the FB page, Hare is currently closed and the owner is working on some health issues. I wish her nothing but luck and good health and truly hope she gets back to polish making soon.

In the meantime, I still have a few Hare in my collection that I haven't posted yet, including this Limited Edition beauty, Alien She.

Sometimes glitter bombs can make the crelly sheerer than usual, so I started with two coats of Jewlie Box by Barielle. Here it is alone:

Then I added two coats of Alien She. Hare formulas are awesome and pretty consistent. You already know to expect a slightly thicker formula since you're working with a glitter heavy polish, so as long as you keep that in mind, you're good to go. As with the other Hare Polishes I have tried, the glitters leap out of the bottle and spread nicely. No need for fishing, pulling, placing, or squishing them around on the nail.

Such a gorgeous and complex polish! Alien She features a pastel pink base with pink, green and purple micro dots and flakkies! Doesn't this remind you of an Easter egg? Here are a couple of no flash shots in the sunshine:
