Today I have a review of a mask from Freeman Beauty. The Freeman line can be found at drugstores and Walmart and each pouch is under $3! They have a huge variety of masks so you're certain to find one to fit your current needs.
This time, I tried the Charcoal & Black Sugar Polish Mask.
I wanted to start with the front and back of the package. Does it look different than others you have tried or seen from the brand? Nope...looks the same...
Here is the mask itself. Except, it's not really a mask. Although the directions read like it's a mask, it's really a scrub. I couldn't get this stuff to stay on my face!
I was not expecting a grainy scrub! It was blotchy and hard to spread. It never fully dried and dripped down my face. I ended up having to lay back for a few moments, hoping it didn't drip. When that didn't work, I just leaned over the sink and gently massaged it for a few moments and then washed it off. My skin did feel nice but nothing too wonderful or different.
I would not repurchase this one again if I was looking for a mask. I may purchase it again only to use a little bit with my regular face cleanser to give it some extra exfoliating power. I think if you used just a touch on an every other day basis, it would be gentle enough.
What do you think? Have you tried this mask?
