New From Barielle: P+C Protect Plus Color Nail Polish - Angel Dust and Flirtini

Recently, two colors from Barielle's Prosina line graced my doorstep and I am happy to share them with you. Barielle, already well known for hand and nail strengtheners and treatments, is adding a strengthener to their regular polish, too.  The new line contains is called P+C, Protect Plus Color Formulated with strengthening Prosina™ for strong nails.

I was sent a deep fucshia, Flirtini, and an iridescent glitter topper called Angel Dust. This new line is supposed to help strengthen thin or brittle nails. It's also safe for pregnant women, according to the website.

I like the idea of a strengthening polish, but personally, I will never skip a base coat, especially with a red based color like Flirtini. I wonder if any of the good benefits will get to the nail even through a base coat?

The formula of this polish was quite watery and thin. I flooded more than one cuticle and had to redo the entire swatch for what you see here. I also had to do three coats, which shouldn't be necessary with such a bold shade.

Angel Dust, on the other hand, is a really fun polish! First, I tried two coats over black and white creme polishes. Love how different it looks on different bases!

This has a sheer holo base with iridescent glitters. Looks pretty cool over white...but has a total WOW factor over black!

I also tried it over Flirtini.

You can find the Prosina packed polishes on Barielle's website - www.barielle.com - and sign up for the awesome sales and promos they have via email.

One super cool thing about their website - you can preview how each color looks on 3 different skintones! I have not seen that before - bravo, Barielle!

xoxo,
Lacey
