As much as I love using cream masks, washing them off can be a pain! Personally, I am that messy kid from the Peanuts comics, so somehow I manage to get water and mask goo every.freakin.where when I attempt to wash them off.
Enter the sheet mask! LOL, I know, nothing new. But sheet masks can be awesomely convenient if you're traveling or, like me, just a mess of an individual.
In an attempt to convert my female family members into face mask worshippers, I purchased a few of these new-to-me masks by 7 Wonders as presents...and a few to try out for myself!
I am sorry that this photo is a little dark, but you still get the point. This is the 7 Wonders Kalahari Melon Moisturizing Mask.
This mask actually had three pieces to it. You open the mask, pull off the very wet and gummy protective layer, apply to your face, and pull off the outer gummy protective layer. Why so many layers? No idea. Pretty wasteful, actually. I used the two outer layers to lotion my legs, which was nice, but still wasteful!
The mask itself smelled amazing and was moisturizing. The package boasts that the mask is made to have "exceptional skin adherence" which I didn't find to be the case. It has the little slashes and is a sheet mask like every other brand I have tried, so just pull the little pieces to get it to fit your face. That is not really a selling point, in my opinion.
I don't think I would repurchase this brand. I did like the formula, and I did buy this brand on a buy 2, get 1 free deal, so that was a nice way to try out a new brand. However, the extra waste just doesn't do it for me and this did not perform in a standout way.
What do you think? Have you tried this brand?
