No one does jewel tone holo polishes like Literary Lacquers!! Amy makes the most beautiful polishes in deep, rich colors that will have you staring at your nails all day. With April in full swing, and spring hopefully heading to the east coast soon, I was thinking of trees, foliage, and...polish. LOL. Of course I was!
Anyway, I was rooting around in my (extensive) Literary Lacquers collection and pulled out three colors in the same gorgeous, deep emerald meets spring grass meets ballgown color and decided to do a comparison post for you today.
As you can see, all three have similar qualities in the bottle. On the nail, you ask?
They are in the same order as the bottle shots, with Bottletown on my pointer finger (top), Ultimate Answer (which features a star!) on my middle finger, and Thermofish on my ring finger (bottom).
All three have similar formulas, needing three thin coats or two thick coats for opacity. I prefer three thin coats with holos because it adds depth, shine, and MOARGLITTER.
Are they the same? No. Bottletown has a more forest green look to it and lots of holo. Ultimate Answer has a bit more olive and it has MINI STARS! Thermofish has a more aqua blue to it and that glass fleck that we all love.
Do you need all 3? Maybe not, but if you love this color family, yes.
You can find Bottletown and Thermofish in the shop still!
Unfortunately, Ultimate Answer (my favorite - hello, mini stars) was a LE that Amy produced in August 2015 for her birthday. If you spy this beauty in a destash sale, I do suggest you snag it!
