Dupe Post: China Glaze Bite Me vs. Color Club Peace, Love, and Polish

Hello there, beautiful readers!

Today I have an awesomely pink dupe post, a comparison between China Glaze's Bite Me from the brand new Summer 2016 Lite Brites collection and Color Club's Peace, Love, and Polish.

Bottle shot:

Ooh, they look close, don't they? I just received the China Glaze Lite Brites collection and will review that in full soon, but as soon as I pulled Bite Me out of the package, I immediately thought of Color Club Peace, Love & Polish, which is one of my favorite neon pinks. I have way too many neon pink polishes, so the gold shimmer in PL&P makes it an instant stand out and favorite.

Ready to see them on the nail?

Yes, that is both polishes! Pretty close, right? Come a little closer:

They are very close! China Glaze Bite Me is on my ring and pointer fingers while Color Club Peace, Love, and Polish is on my middle and pinky fingers.

The formula is quite different. Bite Me is rich and opaque in two coats. If you look closely, you can see it is a bit deeper in color and has less gold shimmer. Peace, Love, and Polish is much more sheer and required three coats for a proper comparison. The shimmer is more pronounced here.

Take another look:

They are pretty close! While they are not exact dupes, you may not need both unless you're a hot pink polish fanatic, like me. I am also not sure if the Color Club is still around and China Glaze is brand new so def easier to find. I love both but even I am not sure if I would've purchased both considering how close they truly are in color.

What do you think? Do you prefer one over the other?
