Sephora's line of masks are quickly becoming some of my favorites! For $4, you can get a variety of formulas to accommodate and treat any skin issue. They come in sheet masks, for daily use, or these nifty little pots for the overnight or sleeping mask version.
The little pots are great for travel! I sleep at my boyfriend's house a few times per week and I usually toss one in my purse before I go. I can get two uses out of a single pot, so I keep one open in his bathroom to use two times in a week.
This time I tried Lotus, meant for moisturizing and soothing. Who can't use some soothing moisture on their skin, especially during the winter?
The lotus scent is quite lovely, subtle and not at all overpowering. I am not sure what a lotus should smell like, but the masks smells of a light floral.
The formula is a clear gel, like the other sleeping masks I have tried, and is easy to spread and work with. It is meant to absorb in the skin fairly quickly so you can fall asleep without getting residue on your pillow. I am a side sleeper and would no doubt coat my pillow with gel, so I usually apply it while I am awake, resting and watching TV, so that it is mostly absorbed before I actually fall asleep.
When you wake up, you can either rinse off any excess or just rub it in.
I would definitely repurchase this product and this scent, specifically. You can find this at Sephora (duh!) online and in-store.
