New-to-me Indie! Bella Luna Cosmetics: Emerald Valleys

Today I have a gorgeous emerald green polish to show you from new-to-me indie company called Bella Luna Cosmetics.  I received this polish for review and also purchased two polishes that I'll show you on Monday. According to the etsy store info, Bella Luna just launched in November 2014 so there are more great things to come.

One of the core collections is (in my opinion - brilliant!) called the Birthstone collection.  As you can guess, it features a birthstone related polish for each month.  May's birthstone is emerald and let me tell you, Bella Luna's creative genius, Samantha, has done an amazing job with this polish.

Check it out! Bottle shot first!

Love it!  Emerald Valleys is opaque in 2 coats although I added a 3rd out of habit for the photos you see here along with topcoat. Great formula! It is the perfect consistency with no pooling or flooding, just thick enough to sit on the nail and flow flawlessly.  Dry time is decent, too.

Emerald Valleys is full of holo sparkle and just shines in the light. If you do not add topcoat, this will dry with an ever so slightly textured finish, but just one coat of topcoat smooths it right out.

Got to have that slightly out of focus holo shot!

Emerald Valleys is available NOW on the Bella Luna etsy page. I love this polish and I love the concept of the collection. My birthday is in August so I can't wait to see what Samantha creates for that (hint, hint, LOL).

I strongly suggest you check out this brand!
