Model City Polish Spring 2015: Fritillaria

Recently Model City Polish held a great sale and I jumped on the chance to purchase the peach polish, Fritillaria, from this spring's collection.

Take a look:

I looked up the description on the website as I am not the greatest at the actual descriptions. The site says it is a "coral orange crelly with orange and gold flakie shimmer and a splash of holographic pigment. Most achieve full coverage in two to three coats." Sounds pretty good to me!

FYI: this polish does NOT need a base but I did my nails in a peachy creme color right before this arrived. I couldn't wait to get it on my nails so I did two coats of Fritillaria over the peachy base. I wouldn't do that again. It does not, NOT, not need a base. This is a creamy and opaque polish on it's own!

How gorgeous is that gold sheen?

I have been a fan of Model City Polish for years now and I love every bottle in my collection. Nina, the creator of the line, is a sweetheart and the customer service is on point! Def a fan and looking forward to seeing what else is coming from MCP!
