In keeping with Tuesday's post, today I have another product review.
I purchased a packet of OrigiNails Bubble White 5-Minute Effervescent Nail Cleaner from Sally Beauty Supply and have been waiting for the right moment to try it and review it for you. I've had it so long that I forgot how much I paid for it, but according to the website, it is still available and it's under $3 even without a Sally's card.
See listing HERE.
I am almost embarrassed to post this, but here are *gulp* my "Before" nails:
Go easy, please! I am a blogger after all! I do use basecoat (and yellow stopper with darker colors), but I get some staining, as we all do.
Here is the package of Bubble White:
And info on the back:
So, following the instructions, I filled a small bowl with warm water and let my nails soak. Knowing they were stained, I let them soak longer than suggested. I took them out, dried them, and took a picture for you.
Here is my "After" photo:
Hmm.... I can see a difference but not much of one. I looked more closely at the info on Sally's site and it says you may need to do this multiple times, and then weekly, to see more results. Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!! Ugh!
Honestly, I will not be repurchasing this. For the price and consistency required to see results, it is not the product for me. I have used denture cleaner to better and quicker results, so I'll just go back to that...or keep my nails painted, as usual. :)
What do you think? Have you tried this product? Let me know if you think it deserves a second chance.
Thanks for stopping by!
