Barielle Gentle Breeze: Spring 2015 Collection

Let's end this cold January with a bright Spring polish collection.  I was sent the following 5 piece collection for review.  Say hello to Gentle Breeze by Barielle:

This is a 5 piece collection that has quite the range of colors.  For me, there are two HITS, two MAYBES, and one MISS.  Shall we proceed?

Let's start with Champagne Bubbles, a dark tangerine polish.  This one is a Maybe for me because it just doesn't play well with my skin tone.  The formula was a bit sheer as I needed three, almost four coats in some places,  I think it would look nice on someone with a darker skin tone than myself.

Although without flash, it is a much more friendly color to my coloring.

Next, this is Gray Sky, described as a "glacier" gray. I like the description better than the polish.  You probably already know I dislike anything that shows brush strokes and this metallic silver shows them loud and clear.  Miss in my book.  This is three coats:

The next polish, Under The Sea, is called a "scuba" blue.  This is another metallic but there's a sheen to it that makes the brush strokes much less visible.  Under The Sea falls in the Maybe category for me.  This is three thin coats, no topcoat.

Now onto the two Hit polishes!  First up, this pretty polish is called Pink Parasol. I needed just two coats, which is an instant win for a creamy pink.  Such a great spring color!

Last but not least, my favorite of the entire collection is called Heaven Sent.  This is described as a light aquamarine but it looks robin egg blue to me. I am showing just two coats for this opaque finish. I absolutely love this one!

I did a little bit of free handed stripey nail art using Heaven Sent and Pink Parasol.

Barielle puts out collections a few times per year. I am very excited to be working with this company.  If you haven't tried Barielle yet, I do recommend it, especially their creme finishes.

If you follow them on social media, you'll see some awesome deals to introduce you to this brand. I've seen 5 polishes for $5, 25% off sitewide coupons, $7 deals for base coats, and more!
