New Giveaway, sponsored by Barielle!!
I was lucky enough to choose my favorite items from Barielle, which, when combined together, make the perfect Fall manicure. I'll show you below exactly how I get the perfect mani.
Aaaaand, guess what?! Barielle was awesome enough to send me a second set of items to giveaway to you!!! I am going to run the giveaway from today until Sept. 23rd, the official end of Summer and start of Fall. There is plenty of time to enter, and plenty of entries to do daily, so bookmark this post OR enter on Facebook OR enter via the Giveaway tab on my blog, which you'll find HERE. Gooood luck! (Giveaway open to US residents or international readers with a US address for me to mail to!)
You'll find the rafflecopter at the bottom of this post, so check out the mani first and enter below!
Here are the items I received (and the same items you can win!!):
Here is how to get the perfect mani! First, start with Intensive Nail Renewal Oil. Personally, I use cuticle oil throughout the day. I start a mani with it and end with it, too. Polish doesn't apply well to the oil, though, so give them a nice massage, then use felt or a cloth to wipe the nail beds clear of oil before you start your mani.
Second, use your Restorative Serum. This is a very cool product because it does double duty, it both strengthens and preps the nail plate for polish. It dries quickly and leaves the nail feeling smooth.
On the website, Barielle describes this product as "A unique dual-action nail product that will cleanse and prime the nail plate with a multi-fruit complex of Alpha Hydroxy acids. In addition it delivers a strengthening agent Nonycosine-E directly to the nail. It is a completely effective way to deliver corrective action to soft and weak nails."
Make sure to let this dry before moving on to you base coat.
Next, for a long-lasting, stain free mani, apply your basecoat. I chose Nail Rebuilding Protein because not only does it act as your every day basecoat, it can also be a treatment polish to strengthen and rebuild the nails. Apply one coat and let dry before applying your polish.
If you use it alone as a treatment polish, use 2 coats.
Next, the star of the show...the polish! I chose Falling Star for you (and me!) because it is a classic, perfectly Fall, must-own Barielle shade. It is a demin, almost cobalt blue with copper glitters. This is two coats. The formula is easy to control and applies flawlessly. Even though it is a rich blue, there is zero staining - especially when using a good base coat. Make sure to let the first coat dry thoroughly before applying the second.
Lastly, to make your mani last, apply topcoat. This is Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender. Add just one coat. Wait about 5 mins to make sure it's fully dry. Also, make sure your polish is dry before applying because if you apply to wet polish, you can smear the polish even if the topcoat feels dry to the touch.
And there you go! I hope you love the products as much as I do! To enter:
