China Glaze Swanky Silk - Bohemian Collection

Today's post is one of the China Glaze Bohemian Collection polishes that came out in 2012.  I was not lusting over this collection at all when it debuted, but when I saw this sparkly neutral gem recently at Job Lot for $3, you better believe it was coming home with me!

This is three coats of SS with HK Girl topcoat.  The polish itself is sheer but builds up nicely. The color is fabulous, shifting from a copper to gold to peach in different lights. In many lights it also looks rosegold, which is my current favorite thing ever, so no wonder I am smitten.

I actually read a few reviews on this and they were quite negative.  That is kind of surprising for a China Glaze color, and sort of a simple neutral at that.  The brush strokes were slightly visible but I assume that's normal for a metallic polish.  Even I don't mind the brush strokes, so they can't be that bad!

Tomorrow I have an awesome mani (in my opinion) using SS and decals from Vinyl Stickers By Sam!  Make sure to stop by!
