Day 3 of brand new A Girl Obsessed polishes! Today I have two solid mattes, He Loves Me Not and All The Single Ladies, from the Anti-Valentine's Day Collection and a new matte topcoat recently added to the store as well.
Let's get to the eye candy. First up, here is two coats of He Loves Me Not, no topcoat.
This is two coats of HLMN. I am impressed with the formula, it goes on smooth and steady. Opaque in two coats. Dries quickly as mattes are known to do. I have no complaints at all! It isn't my normal color palette, but a great Valentine's color, deep and intense for winter.
I added Cupid's Funeral over HLMN and liked the results quite a bit! Check it out:
Next up is All The Single Ladies, a gold, orange, yellow color. I am not sure what to call this. The formula is identical to HLMN, opaque in two coats, dried quickly, hardly any brush strokes. I am pretty sure the color would look better on someone with a much darker skintone than my winter pasty vampire-esque flesh.
Lastly, Sam has also added a matte topcoat to her lineup! Matte-tic is shown here, two coats over the various bases. Here is a comparison of Mstte-ict versus NYC topcoat. The bases are pinky - Chanel Rose, ring finger - China Glaze That's Shore Bright, middle - Verity Baby Blue and index - Sinful Colors Nice Stems:
