Seche Vite Fall 2013: Clever & Confident - Silly But Sensible and Clever & Confident

My first Seche Vite polishes!!!  In addition to the three China Glaze I showed you recently, I received two polishes by Seche Vite.

In case you're a little shocked and think you're behind the times with not knowing Seche makes color, don't worry!  They are fairly new!  I was given a light pink at the Nail Tech Conference I went to in early August and haven't tried it.  After checking out these two, I am going to try that pink ASAP.

From left to right, they are:

  • Clever & Confident
  • Silly But Sensible

I am just as impressed with the formula on these as with the China Glaze Fall polishes. Both of these are one coaters. The formula is really easy to work with, thick but not gloopy, and very similar to the topcoat. The shine was great as well - neither of these swatches show topcoat but my swatches do have two coats for full opacity and richness in the photos:

And a close up.  This polish is stunning!

Silly But Sensible reminds me of cinnamon. It is a perfect Fall burnt orange shade, and oh so rich and vivid in color:

Without flash:

The flash went a little haywire with this color. I apologize for the glare spots! I didn't get a good macro shot of this one, unfortunately.

I am really impressed with both shades' formulas. Silly might not be the best color for my skintone, but the namesake polish, Clever & Confident, is a gorgeous plum hue that I know I will reach for again.

Hopefully we will start to see these pop up more frequently in beauty supply shops and online, because this is definitely a formula worth trying!  Check their Facebook, it's usually the best place for new release information, click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by,
