NERD LACQUER!!! Shiny & Samaria's Swatches (A Custom Nerd!!)

Shall we "squeeeeeeeeee" together?

Nerd Lacquer!

I joined the polish world about a year and a half ago, right when Nerd Lacquer dipped off the radar due to personal issues.  When she came back, the crowd went wild! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

No, seriously.  Some people have an intense love for some Nerds!!

There have been just a few re-stocks since she has been back, and during the last re-stock, I decided to see what the fuss was really all about.  To the shock and disbelief of my Mother, who sat on the couch looking at me oddly while I re-freshed the website 624 times, I managed to jump in and snag the polish I really wanted: Shiny.

On the website, it is described as:

SHINY is a clear sky blue with sapphire shift, and loads
of glitter in silver, white, and opalescent blue. It's spacey,
it's cool, it's synonymous with "fine," and it's very shiny indeed.

My swatches show two coats of Shiny with HK Girl topcoat. Pretty, right?

Don't send death threats after I say this...but a lot of her polishes are dark and not really my thing. You know I like happy, pretty, cupcakes and unicorns type polishes. Shiny was my favorite and really, the only one I wanted.

Next up is a gorgeous Nerd Lacquer that I actually WON in a Giveaway by Samarium's Swatches! Sarah of SS worked with the Nerd Lacquerista to create Samaria, a stormy grey with purple and pink glitters. Thank you for the fabulous prize, SS!

My swatch shows 2 coats of Samaria alone, with HK Girl as the topcoat for added shine. This color is also slightly dark, for me anyway, but the pink and purple make it more feminine, which I like.

Last look!

You cannot find Samaria, since it was custom-made for the contest, but you can find Shiny and other Nerd Lacquers here.

I began the first half of the month with nothing in my Empties bucket, but by the end of the month I was out of everything! I ended up with ...
