Brazen Cosmetics: New Liquid Lipsticks! Review of 3 Shades: Trophy Wife, Hot Blooded, and Carpe Diem, Plus Tied Up Eyeshadow

A non-polish post!  Say what!?!?

Today I have three gorgeous shades of the new Liquid Lipstick from Brazen Cosmetics sent for review.  Brazen is a badass online makeup extravaganza, which you can see more about HERE on Facebook.  They have bold, super pigmented colors that are good for day, night, or any brazen activity you do. (See what I did there?)

I am not usually a lipstick girl, but these are hydrating and have an amazing color payoff.  Some red lipsticks are just too stunning to resist, and I think Hot Blooded is right up there!  Here is a swatch on my wrist, then on my lips:

I love this! It dries slightly matte but it isn't drying at all. The color is so bold, classic, and daring at the same time. Brazen Cosmetics are also vegan, do not test on animals, and the lipsticks all have a very slight scent of vanilla. I would include the info sheet BUT one of the samples exploded inside and ruined it.

Yeah, I'm a dork, my bad.

Next up is Carpe Diem, a shimmery gold. This shade is sheer and would look best over another color:

Last but not least, this shimmery coral is called Trophy Wife. I love this color as well:

Check out all three together:

They also threw in a very generous sample of Tied Up eyeshadow, which is so shimmery and very pigmented as well! It is soft to the touch and spreads well but is not messy. I appreciate that because I usually dislike a loose shadow. I don't use brushes for my eyes and prefer a shadow that is controllable with my fingers and doesn't experience nasty fall out and ruin my foundation. Yep, that's happened a trillion times. Tied Up is nice and stiff but blendable. Does that make sense?

In all, my first experience with Brazen Cosmetics is thoroughly impressive. I know I need a full size of Hot Blooded for the winter and fall. I will def be stopping by this store soon! Find Brazen on Facebook HERE and on their store site HERE.
