Northern Star Polish: Purrfection - Indie Review Post

Good morning! Today I have another new-to-me indie brand to show you called Northern Star Polish! Kristin kindly sent me a polish for review and included a honeysuckle scented cuticle oil as well!

Perfect Lacey color, isn't it?

Truth be told, she did ask which colors I liked, and I think most people who send me polishes get the pink/pastel memo since this website often looks like an Easter egg exploded all over it, but seriously, how perfect is this color?

The formula is lovely. Sometimes flakey polishes get thick because the flakies take over. AAAAAAAH! The flakies are coming!!!!!!! Little dramatic? NOT if you've met a thick flakie, I'm not kidding. It's like applying mud.

Fear not with this polish, LOL. There is an awesome relationship between the flakies and the lacquer here. Good stuff.

This swatch shows 3 coats of Purrfection. It's a sheer color with a jelly/crellish feel and lots of pearly flakey shimmer. SO pretty, perfect for summer, and work appropriate to boot.

On her site, it is described as: "Purrfection is a rose pink base with white pearly flake glitter - opaque in two coats. No need to layer it over anything else!"

I know you want to see more!

I took a few shots outside, too. No light box here:

You can find Northern Star polish and her awesome cuticle products in her etsy store HERE and on Facebook HERE.
