Guest Post: Samantha From A Girl Obsessed Shows Us Candy Lacquer: Juicy Kisses

Today's post comes from the fabulous Sam at A Girl Obsessed!

Sam has an adorable indie polish to show us from Candy Lacquer called Juicey Kisses.  It is an adorable glitter topper that she put over polishes by Barry M and NYX.  Let's take a look!

Hello all!

Lacey was kind enough to let me guest post again :) I really enjoy blogging but I just don’t have enough time to maintain my very own blog between jet engine mechanic-ing, Cooley Jooelry-ing and A Girl Obsessing. Plus soon I will be starting nail tech school, I’m so excited!

Ok on to business, I’m really excited to share with you guys some of my favorite colors and a new-to-me Indie named Candy Lacquer. Purple and coral (and teal) are my favorite colors. Lacey sent me Barry M Bright Purple and NYX Carolina because I never tried the brands before, and let me tell you, I love both of the formulas!

The Bright Purple Barry M went on so smooth I only needed 1 coat but applied 2 out of habit. The coral NYX named Carolina was perfectly opaque in 2 coats. You can see below I did a few accent nails on each hands, I feel kind of retro ATM, LOL.

As an Indie polish maker myself I have a certain respect for other Indie brands, and I still scoop up the cool ones when I spot them. When I saw this polish I HAD to have it! Purple orange and green with white? Come on! Candy Lacquer’s Juicy Kisses went on great too I only had to fish out the hearts which is to be expected. No big thang. I followed it with two coats of Seche Vite to make it super smooth. I LOVE it.

A little bit closer now:

What do you think? I will definitely return to Candy Lacquer :) I have my eye on Sugar Skulls. And I definitely want some more Barry M and NYX shades to add to my collection!

Thanks for having a look!
