Literary Lacquers: Post 2 of 3: The Jellies!

In juuust a few hours, The Good Parts collection from Literary Lacquers goes live!  Let me show you a couple of the jellys, Bionic Mmm-Detector and Zipless, to get you excited for the release!

If you didn't see yesterday's post, you really must.  I have two words for you: PLUM HOLO. Link!

Here is the group shot to refresh your memory:

Okay, back to the jellys!  Both swatches show three coats of the jellys, no undies or top coat, and I used my favorite swatching base, NYC Clear, 1 coat.  Both of the polishes are flawless!  Bionic could be just 2 coats, easily, but I wanted complete coverage for the swatches.

Bionic Mmmm-Detector is a black-based jelly packed with aqua, teal, blue and green microglitters.  It was inspired by Vox by Nicholson Baker in 1990.

I am also really liking my nails square. What shape are you rocking right now?

Next is the fiery and feisty Zipless!  This is a red jelly with matte red glitter and holo gold glitter.  It is inspired by Fear of Flying by Erica Jong, published in 1973.  According to Amy, this is her fave book on the list, so I may have to check it out!
