Guest Post: Samantha's Franken Jelly Sandwich Manis!

I am excited to announce that Samantha from A Girl Obsessed is my second monthly guest blogger!  Sam and I grew up in the same small hometown and although we had mutual friends growing up, I believe we have grown much closer now over our shared love of all things polish!

Samantha is a huge polish fan and a beautiful woman - and she is a jet engine mechanic by day!  How hot is that!! She has recently entered the world of frankening and I am lucky enough to share one of her first creations with you today!

Hello to all of MBHM’s peeps, my name is Samantha; you might know me as “A GirlObsessed”.

Lacey invited me to guest post on her blog while she’s in school so you will see me pop up once in a while until summer. I’m so excited to be here!

I am relatively new to this um… glittery world but I am obsessed!

So much so that when thinking of something to do for you guys I made a nail polish because I didn’t have one that fit the bill. Today I have for you two jelly sandwich manicures using my own frankenpolish that is a dupe for Zoya’s Paloma. Well, sort of. I named mine Boo Berry.

Here are two coats of Boo Berry undies with one coat of sparkles on top. On the left I used Pumped Up Kicks from Femme Fatale Lacquer. On the right I used Mother Earth from Kelara Lacquers. I wanted to explore different looks.

Ok. So onto the “sandwiching”. This is where I added two more coats of Boo Berry.

I LOVE the way this looks!! It muted the sparkle, gave the white and gold glitter rose tones, and it even looks like the glitter is floating. Very cool trick. I’m defiantly digging the jelly sandwich manicure!

Here we are with flash.

These are the best natural light pictures I could manage. Note the kitty in the lower right. That’s Batman, he sneaks into many of my pictures =^^=

So That’s it. What do you think?
