I want every single butterLONDON Holiday 2012 polish! They are ALL gorgeous!
I cannot afford them though, so I splurged on just one. I actually asked my boyfriend, hater of all things makeup and polish, which color he thought was most unique and which I had least of, because of course I was just going to get the pink, no questions asked.
Well, he picked Scallywag, which I would NOT have picked on my own, but I am really happy he did!
Scallywag is a GORGEOUS glitter bomb sky blue color. It isn't something I'd think of as a Christmas shade but whatever! When I posted this on instagram - I am @ljchrystal - the fabulous Lacey of Lacey&Lacquers said it looked like I dipped my hands in glitter, and I couldn't agree more!
Slightly out of focus so you can see each glitter:
Last shot!
I must admit that after a mere 24 hours of wear, this started chipping BADLY and of course I had used 2 coats of Seche. I am a little bummed at that but willing to try again since it is so gorgeous.
butterLONDON is def pricey, but keep an eye out for blog sales, for deals at Ulta and at Nordstrom, too. I was able to snag a buy 2, get 1 free deal at Nordstrom where I got this, Two Fingered Salute, and Primrose Hill with free shipping.
Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo,
Lacey

Very pretty but it's a shame about the chipping. Most glitter polishes I've used lasted such a long time so I'm very surprised.
ReplyDeletei have butter london west end wonderland, which is a gold and rust-ish glitter. it also chips, but where it doesn't chip it is impossible to get off! what the heck?!? haha.
