Lush Skin Drink: Dry Skin Be Gone!!

Due to nature, genetics, harsh air conditioning all summer long, and dry winter air, the skin in my face is ALWAYS dry.  I have a few dry patches around my nose and on my cheeks constantly.  I have tried pretty much every moisturizer available (within what I determine to be a reasonable price!) with no results that ever made me want to climb to the top of a mountain and sing.

Until now!  A couple of my girlfriends are super Lush fangirls and so I've started trying a few products that they have recommended, like Jungle Conditioner, Happy Hippy Gel, and various body scrubs.  Since I've really liked everything I've tried, I decided to try Skin Drink, a facial moisturizer.

The website says:
"Is your face feeling parched? Relieve that terrible tight feeling and smooth a generous dab of Skin Drink over your face and neck. We pack Skin Drink full of nourishing ingredients like moisturizing rose petal extract, fresh avocado and calming aloe vera extract to keep your skin feeling soft and supple, regardless of the season. Evening primrose, neroli and rose oils improve the skin’s texture and leave you with that healthy looking glow."

As all of their awesome products, Skin Drink comes in a re-usable little black pot.  Once you return 5 Blacks Pots to the store, you can get a free Fresh Face Mask.  I haven't returned any because I keep finding awesome uses for them, like holding small stud earrings and keeping little crafty items together, like little crystals and beads.

I have been using this for about a month and am barely making a dent in the pot. You only need a tiny dab of this to get it all over your face, and it has a lovely herbal smell.  It does feel a little heavy to the skin, and I did break out when I first switched to this, but I must admit I break out often enough, at least once a month and whenever stressed, so I was never sure if it was this product, the transition to a new product, or just life itself.  Probably a combo of all three, I have no idea.

Anyway, in conclusions, I would def recommend this if you have dry skin, especially once those winter winds start parching your skin.  LUSH products are available worldwide, you just have to pick your country and proceed from there.

One last warning - in the US, shipping from Canada takes about 2 full weeks to get to me in Texas.  My friend Jenny mentioned ordering from the UK site which takes less time, so I am going to check prices next time and maybe try that out.  There are stores all over as well!

What LUSH products do you love??
