Laura Mercier Lip Stain - Shy Pink - Stain in a pot! Love!

I went to Sephora recently and was scoping around for a new lip product.  I love primers and lip products out of anything else.  I especially love cute packaging!

Laura Mercier is a brand I am just getting into, and so far everything I've tried is superior.  I know her Tinted Moisturizer has a cult following, but I haven't actually tried it.  I do have the Silk Creme foundation, which is awesome if you're looking for a thick, doll-like finish like I prefer.

This is the Lip Stain in Shy Pink.  A lip stain that comes in a pot was new to me.  I love products in clear, easily accessible jars.  I feel like I have a better chance of using every last drop...although I hardly ever hit pan on a product!

Let's take a look!  It is a stain in a POT, which is awesome.  It comes with 0.2oz of product, and since it is in a pot, you can use every single drop (if you so desire!).  It'll take a whiiiiile to use this up.

BAD lighting bc it looks nude, it is a light pink.
Rosier on my hand
Outside pics are always better. THAT is the true color of the product.

On me, outside
On me, inside, no flash
Looove this! What do you think?  It lasted for hours and hours, was creamy looking and feeling, but def lasted like a stain.  I applied it with my finger but a lip brush would do just as well.  I apply everything that I can with my fingers...half the fun of makeup to me is to think that my face is a canvas and I am an artist!  Smear it on and let's see what happens! LOL.  That mentality explains a lot......hahahaha, that's for another blog post entirely.

I am loving this product.  Sephora only had 4 colors - Shy Pink (this one), a Mulberry - dark dark berry, Mocha - brown, and Scarlett - bright red.  I hope they come out with a few other neutral colors, but it'll take a long time before I need a new one anyway!  Check this out if you're a lip stain fan!
xoxo,
Lacey
